Laurel A. Couchman, BSW, CMC, owner of
Elder Care Solutions, is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager, with an expansive
history of geriatric social work experience within the South Florida area.
She has worked as a Social Worker for over 20 years, with experience ranging
from Elder Abuse Investigations and Quality Assurance for the State of
Florida, to development and implementation of community training programs
on Elder Abuse & Neglect prevention and recognition, as well as Care
Management with the elderly and disabled adults. She is the author of Doing
the Best You Can: A Guide to Caregiving, an informational brochure for
people providing care for their loved ones at home.
